GRANDBOOMERS CELEBRATES 15 YEARS ONLINE

How time flies.  When we first started GrandBoomers as a forum for young grandparents, one of the major concerns of Grandboomers was what the grandchildren would call them.  GrandBoomers in their forties and fifties were universal in feeling that being Grandma or Grandpa made them sound old.

And now, 15 years later, GrandBoomers are reaching retirement age.  How to enter that stage of life? Many grandchildren are in high school. Grey hair is creeping in.  Maybe so, but GrandBoomers can take pride in knowing that they revolutionized life across the globe.  Traditional ways...including being Grandma and Grandpa...changed--for the better.

Physical fitness, travel and exciting lifestyles became the norm.  More risks were taken as people moved from job to job and location to location.  Crossing an ocean became crossing the pond. Reaching for the stars became reality with the moon landing and solar probes.

And the beauty of it is, that GrandBoomers haven't settled back yet.  At least the GrandBoomers we know.  All continue to be active and vital.

Congratulations GrandBoomers. You may be 65, but you're still moving at 100 mph.
